Major: Outdoor Leadership

Best Part About YHC?: The elusive combination of incredible community and the stunning playground of the Appalachian Mountains.

Favorite Tradition: The Freshmen/Senior hike to and from Brasstown Bald.

Future Plans: When I decide to settle down, I would love to work for the outdoor/recreation department of a college/university!

Alejandro Lemus-Gomez

Hometown: Miami, FL

Major: English

Why YHC?: Stepping foot on campus for the first time and experiencing the Enchanted Valley firsthand really made me fall in love with the Young Harris College! On top of that, the composition classes I took here during my last year of high school really motivated me to pursue a degree in Literature.

Favorite Tradition: Morning Paws is my life. You will always see me getting a cup of brew while chatting with others.

Future Plans: My current goals are to become an international human rights lawyer and to become a published poet.
